Christmas Time in the Big City

As the weather gets colder this city begins to Deck it's Halls! This is the 'tea section' of Harrods.
The city is most beautiful at night time when all of the lights are turned on. There are twinkling lights on almost all of the streets we find ourselves on!
Since we don't want to buy a fake tree, and can't afford these real trees, we settled for this picture of me with the trees! Notice the reindeer in the foreground!
This is a booth set up at the Cologne Christmas Fair. It was supposed to be a traditional German Christmas Market... unfortunately it was just a bunch of booths set up selling overpriced merchandise to unsuspecting tourists. It was beautiful though and it helped to get us into the Christmas Spirit!
Have I mentioned the weather. This was last Saturday... the coldest day of the year so far. It was truly miserable to be outside and we didn't last long at the Christmas Market because of the biting cold!
Last Sunday we visited the Christmas Market at Covent Garden.
The smell of maple and sugar wafting from the waffle cart was irresistable! We were forced to succumb to the temptation and indulge in this amazing phenomenon... the London Street Waffle!
Chrismas time means Christmas Parties!!! This is the P.E./English Departments' Christmas Party.
Here's my cute husband groovin to the tunes in the pub!
A very fun time was had by all... unfortunately we stayed out so late that the tube closed and we had to take the night bus home with a bunch of drunks! We chalked it up to a London Experience... which we do not need to repeat!
